NAPLAN English:
A band score of 4 or above is typically considered the minimum passing level for students in Year 3, Year 5, Year 7, and Year 9. The band scores range from Band 1 (lowest) to Band 10 (highest), with Band 4 being the common benchmark for “proficiency” in literacy skills.NAPLAN Maths:
Similarly, a band score of 4 or above is also a minimum for Maths, with Band 4 indicating a reasonable understanding of basic numeracy skills for students at this level. Higher bands represent more advanced problem-solving abilities.
