⭐ For Year 1–6 familiesNAPLAN Success Pathways
Strong everyday skills and a calm, confident mindset — built step by step, long before test day. No cramming, just good learning.
The pathway
Little steps every year, not a rush in March
Our weekend classes follow your child through primary school, building the skills NAPLAN looks at as part of normal, enjoyable learning.
Strong foundations
Number sense, adding and subtracting, phonics, spelling patterns and reading for meaning.
First NAPLAN
Get comfortable with question styles and the online format. Writing practice on paper, just like the real thing.
Grow & stretch
Times tables, fractions, problem solving, paragraph writing, grammar and punctuation.
Second NAPLAN
Multi-step problems, persuasive and narrative writing, and reading longer texts with confidence.
Ready for secondary
Lock in core skills and good study habits before Year 7 — and the next NAPLAN.

Our approach
Skills and confidence, not test stress
NAPLAN is a snapshot of the skills children are already learning at school. We agree with the national approach that children shouldn’t be cramming for it — so we focus on understanding, steady practice and feeling calm about the online format.
How results are reported
Your child’s school gives you an individual student report later in the year, showing achievement against four proficiency levels:
Bring your child’s report to a free session and we’ll talk through what to focus on next.
For parents
Simple ways to help at home
- Read together for 10–15 minutes most days and chat about the story.
- Make maths everyday — cooking, shopping and telling the time all count.
- Try the official practice site so the online format feels familiar: NAPLAN public demonstration site.
- Keep it calm — a good sleep and breakfast matter more than last-minute practice.
Start with a free session
- Free Maths · Friday 6:00–6:30pm
- Free English · Thursday 6:00–6:30pm
- Melbourne time · on Zoom
